As of 1 March, TVH Equipment has taken over the commercial activities of the Diksmuide -based company PADIX.

PADIX, founded in 1999, rents out mobile elevating work platforms and has a fleet of 90 machines. For TVH Equipment, this will be a new branch in addition to the existing locations in Waregem, Antwerp, Londerzeel, Maaseik, Sint-Niklaas and Nivelles.

TVH Equipment, headquartered in Waregem, not only rents out mobile elevating work platforms, but also scissor lifts, telehandlers and forklift trucks, among other things. In addition, the company also sells new and second-hand machines and has a Service Department that is responsible for maintenance and repair.

Nothing changes for PADIX customers; they can continue to contact their trusted contact persons. Of course, they will now be able to enjoy a wider range of rental machines. The TVH Equipment rental fleet includes no less than 5000 machines, including 3300 mobile elevating work platforms.

Closer to the customer

mateco Holding nv, the umbrella company above TVH Equipment, also acquired companies in Spain and Germany at the end of last year. An additional investment will now be made in Belgium in order to optimise the spread of the rental locations here as well. "We want to be as close as possible to our customers, which is why we have chosen to work with local depots. With the acquisition of PADIX, we can now better serve our customers in the coastal region," says Kristof Coudenys, Managing Director of TVH Equipment.
