Machine Spotlight: Ruthmann T 700 HF

Our latest addition to the growing segment of truck-mounted aerial platforms (Class C driver's license) has a working height of 70 meters. This surpasses our previous largest machine, the T 650 HF, by an additional 5 meters. Allow us to introduce our new flagship, the T 700 HF!

Truck-mounted aerial platforms, with their impressive reach and flexible articulated arm, are ideal for working at great heights or in hard-to-reach places such as narrow spaces or the back of tall buildings. "With the T 650 HF, we were already able to meet the majority of market demands," says Maarten Debie, Project Coordinator TMP (Truck Mounted Platforms) at TVH Equipment. "However, due to a clear trend of reaching even greater heights, we invested in an even larger machine in late 2022: the T 700 HF, with a working height of 70 meters, is the new absolute highlight in our range."

Even More Flexibility in Work

And those additional 5 meters truly make a difference. Maarten Debie explains: "For some church towers or high-voltage lines, our T 650 HF fell just short. That issue has now been resolved. Furthermore, this additional machine allows us to distribute our fleet of truck-mounted aerial platforms even more effectively across our various depots. This improves our service to customers and simultaneously saves on transportation costs. An added bonus is that this new truck is just under 12 meters long, so we do not need to apply for exceptional transport permits."

From a working height of 40 meters onwards, we exclusively rent truck-mounted aerial platforms with a driver-operator. They bring the machine to the customer and operate it during the work. "The spacious basket of the T 700 HF (expandable up to 3.82 m x 0.97 m) comfortably accommodates 3 to 4 people," continues Maarten. "While our experienced and fully certified operator ensures flawless operation, the customer's employees can fully concentrate on their tasks. This significantly enhances work efficiency."
